Moving to Kansas City one year ago, I planned to be a temporary transient, on my way to sweet Seattle. I had no desire to be in Kansas City, but a twist of fate landed me an incredible job. I fell in love with my new career niche, but felt disconnected from my community.
Kansas Citian after Kansas Citian raved about their fair city to me and I had to ask myself, what are they seeing and experiencing that I'm not? This place seemed lame at first, second, and third glance. As I made friends and ventured out more, I quickly began to appreciate the vast selection of pocket neighborhoods and events that were all around me.
This blog is dedicated to all of those who are new to the city, the townies who have lost their love for KC, and all of those who are just flying through. May your KC adventures be many and fullfilling.
